アメリカ空軍特殊作戦コマンドで運用され、2017年から在日米軍横田基地に配備予定。

The CV-22 Osprey is an U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) multi-mission, tiltrotor military aircraft with both a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability. It is designed to combine the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft.
