This time, we are taking Japan’s overnight sleeper train, the Sunrise, and heading toward Mt. Fuji.

Our journey begins at night, departing from the station and spending the night in a private room on the sleeper train.
Instead of simply continuing all the way to Tokyo, we get off along the way and continue toward the Mt. Fuji area, aiming for Kawaguchiko.

Springtime Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, and the very real crowds of a famous tourist destination.
The scenery was absolutely beautiful, but by the end, the number of people almost made me leave a small piece of my soul behind.
