Today, I’m traveling from Shanghai to Beijing on one of China’s fastest high-speed trains.
This time, I’m riding in a premium seat that feels almost like first class on a plane, with a private pod-like space, a sliding door, a fully reclining seat, and even a meal included. It turned out to be a far more luxurious journey than I expected.
After that, the trip continues with a 4-day stay in Beijing.
From zhajiangmian, Peking duck, and walking around the city, to the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City, this became a trip where I got to experience the incredible scale of China. Hope you enjoy the journey.
