2018年11月3日、狸谷不動院にて秋まつり、おつながり参拝を撮影いたしました。もう一つの清水寺とも呼ばれる懸崖造りの本殿は迫力満点でパワースポットと呼ばれる所以をひしひしと感じました。日ごろからキャンプなどを体験していない身としては、数メートル先の炎がこれほどまでに熱風を運ぶのかと驚きました。目と鼻の先で淡々と厳かにお焚き上げをされる山伏の方々にはとても驚き感動いたしました。
This temple is widely known amongst Japanese history fans as the place where a famous swordsman, Musashi Miyamoto (1584-1645), fought a battle against the Yoshioka School. There is a waterfall in the temple precinct named Musashi’s Waterfall where he trained his mind while remaining under the harshly cold waterfall. Today the temple is worshipped as the deity for traffic safety and warding off misfortunes. The main deity, the Fudo Myo-o, is enshrined in the hall that is located on the cliff. Visitors must go up 250 steep steps to reach the main hall to see the deity, but will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
