Cookie House (Gingerbread House)

W10cm (4inch) x H14cm(5.5inch) x D10cm (4inch)
You can print out any template available online to make the house around this size ❤

Ingredients:
200g (7.0oz.) cake flour / all purpose flour
90g (3.2oz.) unsalted butter
1 egg (divide it into 20g and 30g)
15g egg white
60g (2.1oz.) granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. matcha powder
100g (3.5oz.) powdered sugar
silver sugar sprinkles

Directions:
1. Cream the butter in a bowl with a whisk. Add granulated sugar and mix until white and creamy. Add 20g egg and mix well. Add flour and mix well with a spatula. Then form it into a ball with your hands. To make Matcha dough, separate 40g and mix in Matcha powder. Roll out the dough in between plastic wrap to 4mm (0.15 inch) thick. Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour to set and chill.
2. Cut out the pattern paper of the cookie house (you can draw on your own or download from online). Then cut out the dough using the patterns. Make the base with leftover dough. Brush the egg (using the other half 30g) to give them a shiny golden brown finish. Bake in the oven at 170C (338F) for about 15 minutes. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet.
4. Separate 2 tsp. of powdered sugar and set aside for the snow. Mix powdered sugar and 15g egg white. Transfer it into a piping bag and snip off the end. Decorate the roofs, walls, and chimney, and put the sugar sprinkles.
5. Glue the cookies together with icing to build the house. Dust with powdered sugar to finish.
