We made a new, easy-to-understand movie about total solar eclipses. A total solar eclipse is the most mysterious and breathtaking astronomical phenomenon.

The pearl color solar corona appears thanks to the following coincidences: that the Sun and the Moon have almost the same apparent size (Note 1) and that the Moon’s umbra reaches to the Earth because of the fortuitous intersection of the path of the Moon and the ecliptic.

Please enjoy the total eclipse with this inspiring movie and music!
