25年間オプラウィンフリ－ショーで大成功を収めた後芸能界を引退し、新しい道を探して事業を起こしましたが成功しませんでした。その時、ハーバード大学卒業式での講演者として招待されます。自分の事業が失敗しているのに、世界有数の優秀な大学の卒業式で話なんて出来ないと思い、講演のするか悩みました。ですが、いくつかの悟りを得て最終的に講演者招待を受諾します。なぜ受け入れたのでしょうか？

自分の経験談を紐解いて話していくのでリスニングの楽しみがあり、長い間司会者をしていたので、英語の発音もきれいで聞き易いです。
