Trailer for four original pieces we recently shot in SE Asia that you can look forward to watching soon on Vice Japan.

1. Thailand's annual Sak Yant Tattoo festival. Part reminiscent of mega-church cooked up christian rapture, mixed with a heavy metal concert, against the backdrop of a buddhist temple.

2. Thailand is in the midst of epidemic. Due to its affordability "yaba" has supplanted heroin as the golden triangle's main narcotic produce and now Thailand is dealing with a generation hooked to this new and dangerous form of meth. We investigate and also visit a monastery running a rehab program that involves daily group vomiting sessions.

3. Living With The Dead is an exploration of a slum community living among (sometimes on top) of the graves in catholic cemetery in north Manila. Theres around 300 families, and counting, occupying Navotas Cemetary, the poorest of the poor in a city increasingly divided by wealth and modernisation.

4. Deep in the Philippine's northern mountain region we followed a bone hunter who collects the bones of Japanese soldiers killed during WWII so that they can be returned to Japan.
