We are kicking off our new series "VICE VS" by going back in time to the early days of MMA, before it became the widespread international sport we've come to know today. There was an era when MMA fighters consisted mainly of relatable characters from everyday life than of professional fighters with endorsement deals. In some ways, it reminded us of video games like Street Fighter II with all its different characters and places they represented, which we miss. As a way to revive this forgotten past time, we present to you our first episode "Punk vs Hip Hop" to see two men from opposite musical genres duke it out for the title. Not to mention the terrifying but friendly MMA legend Enson Inoue will oversee the fight. Don't forget to offer some suggestions for Episode 2 in the comments section! (e.g. CEO vs part-time worker, gangster vs lawyer, and so on.)
