気候変動の影響を受けて降雨量の変動性が増しつつあり、水資源の脆弱性、将来の渇水リスクへの対処が求められます。そこで、従来の水利用システムを見直して、流域圏の気象・水文変動や水量・水質変動の将来予測に基づいた新たなシステムへの変化が必要です。都市のユビキタス型水資源となりうる雨水、地下水、再生水の水量と水質の安定性や水質リスクを正しく評価して、需要と供給の調和がとれた水資源の適正配置や持続的な都市水利用システムを構築するための研究成果を紹介します。
