3Dスキャナーは、物体の3D形状をコンピュータに取り込むための装置で、アニメーションの制作から、工業製品の開発、さらには医療分野でも利用されています。また、3Dプリンタは、そのようにして取り込んだ3Dデータから実物を作成する技術です。これらの二つの技術について、デモンストレーションを交えながら概要を説明し、またその原理について解説します。

The Principles and the Practicals of 3D Scanner and 3D Printer [JP]

3D scanner, the device for scanning three-dimensional shape of the object, is used in many areas such as animation, industrial design, and medical treatment. 3D printer is the device for production of the real objects from the scanned data. In this lecture, Prof. Suzuki and Dr. Nagai explain the foundation of 3D scanner and 3D printer through lecture and demonstration.
