「ムダな医療」とは何でしょうか？ 余計にお金がかかってしまう医療が、ムダな医療と思われるかもしれません。しかし実際には、あらゆる医療のほとんどが「余計にお金がかかる」行為です。お金だけ考えて、医療はムダ！と断ずるのは、大きな誤りです。「ムダな医療」と「そうでない医療」を切り分けるには、お金だけでなく、もう一つ別のものさしが必要です。この講義では、そのものさしの当て方と、ムダ度合いの評価法を紹介します。

What is the "wasteful" medical treatment? How is it possible to distinguish the medical treatment that is "wasteful" from the one that is not? We should not just think about money. Effectivity does also matter. Prof. Igarashi introduces a method of evaluating the medical wastefulness.
