バーチャルリアリティ（VR）とは、人間のさまざまな感覚器官に働きかけることで、あたかも現実のように感じられる環境を人工的に作り出す技術です。現実は御しがたく動かしがたいものだという思いは、時に人を苦しめます。しかし、実際には、ちょっとしたことが現実を大きく変えてしまうということを、VRは明らかにしてきました。この講義では、これをポジティブに活用して、現実をよりよく「編集」して生きるための技術について考えます。

Interface for Editing Reality [JP]

Virtual reality (VR) is a technique that artificially creates an environment that seems like a reality by influencing various human sensory organs. People sometimes are tormented with the thought that reality is hard to move. But in fact, VR has revealed that a little things will change the reality greatly. In this lecture, Dr.Narumi considers “editing” reality and living better through VR's positive aspects.
