On July 22, Sumitomo Rubber Industries announced the next-generation all-season tire, the Dunlop Synchro Weather, set to launch on October 1. Initially available in 40 sizes, from 175/65R15 priced at ¥21,450 to 225/40R18 at ¥69,630, the lineup will eventually expand to over 100 sizes. The Synchro Weather, as its name suggests, adjusts to varying road conditions, providing optimal grip and safety on dry, wet, snowy, and icy surfaces. Featuring Active Tread technology, the tire changes its rubber properties in response to weather, ensuring superior performance year-round. The primary target market includes urban users in areas with minimal snowfall.
