In this video, we’ll show you footage that gives the feeling of walking, cycling, or driving through various parts of Japan. This time, we’ll introduce a 2.3 km stretch from Hanzomon Station to Yurakucho Station in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, following the outer perimeter of the Imperial Palace (former Edo Castle).

Hanzomon is one of the gates of the Imperial Palace (formerly Edo Castle) and is located at the western edge of the palace, directly opposite the Otemon Gate, which is the main gate of Edo Castle. There is a subway station nearby.

The outer perimeter of the Imperial Palace is a popular running course in Tokyo, stretching about 5 km. It’s a favorite spot for many runners because it allows them to enjoy nature while running in the heart of Tokyo.

Yurakucho is an area in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, just one station away from Tokyo Station on the JR Yamanote Line. It is particularly famous for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Nearby, you’ll find large commercial facilities and convention centers such as Yurakucho Marion and the Tokyo International Forum, which are popular with both tourists and businesspeople.
