多くの人々は、ケナガマンモスが絶滅した時期を
1万年ぐらい前だと思っていますが
実は、エジプトでピラミッド建設の真っ只中だった
わずか約4,000年前まで
ケナガマンモス(ウーリーマンモス)は生存していました。
それは、北極海のウランゲリという
離島でのことです。
当時、人間の手が届かなかった場所で
ケナガマンモスはどうして
最期を迎えるようになったのでしょうか？
今日はマンモスの最期に関するお話です！
