sorry,'The Little Broomstick’ is the original novel of this movie.'Mary and the Witch's Flower’ is the movie title in English.
Last week, I saw the animation movie 'Mary and the Witch's Flower'.
Director Masahiro YONEBAYASHI.
He is a man who everyone rumored to be the next Hayao Miyazaki'.
But for me, the movie was SOOOOO disappointing.
Because, please imagine.
The famous ghibli staff gatherd and assembled that studio Ponok, the all staff who draw background scenes, are master artists.
But at the beginning of the movie, I was shocked.
Story begin in the English countryside.
There is a beautiful forest, And it’s foggie…….
Woops?
No forest, no fog.
Even the brush touch was visible
Just a “painted picture on paper”.
