歌手の華原朋美さんが4月17日、東京都内で行われた7年ぶりの新曲「夢やぶれて～I DREAMED A DREAM～」の発売記念イベントに登場し、ファンの前で初めて新曲を生披露した。楽曲を歌い切った華原さんは感極まって涙を見せ、会場のファンからの温かい拍手と声援を受けると、「ありがとうございます。生きててよかった」と声を震わせながら、感謝の言葉を述べた。

　イベントで、7年ぶりの新曲について語った華原さんは「いろんなことが私の中であったので、こういう日がくるとは思わなかった。これが最終目的ではなく、一つ目の山を越えたところ。（この曲を）ステップにこれから先も頑張っていきたい」と決意を述べた。（毎日新聞デジタル）

Singer Tomomi Kahara appeared at an event held in Tokyo in April 7th to promote her new song "Yume Yaburete - I Dreamed a Dream-" after exactly 7 years and she performed live in front of her fans. After she had finished the song, Kahara was very emotional and cried. She received warm applause and encouragement from her fans. With her voice trembling, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude “Thank you. It is wonderful to live in this world”.
