千葉県船橋市の非公認キャラクターであるふなっしー公認の“実弟”ふなごろーが10月15日、東京都内で行われたバンダイの新商品発表会にふなっしーと登場。ふなっしーの56番目の弟で、芋虫とのハーフというふなごろーはこの日がイベント初登場となった。

新商品は「ふなっしーのめいっしー 第1弾」で、ふなっしー公認の274人の兄弟や梨の妖精たちを描いた名刺ふうの紙製プレート「めいっしー」が3枚セットになった商品。記載されたQRコードをスキャンして専用サイト「ふなログ」でゲームをすることもできる。プレートの種類は36種。価格は194円（税込み）。18日発売。

Funagoro, a "real" and fully recognized brother of Funassyi, an unofficial character of Funabashi, Chiba, appeared alongside Funassyi at a ceremony held in Tokyo on October 15th to unveil new products of Bandai company.
