　映画「猿の惑星：新世紀（ライジング）」（マット・リーブス監督）のデジタルレンタル先行配信開始を記念したイベントが1月7日、東京都内で行われた。イベントは、映画にちなんで本物のサルのなると君とるいーじ君が登場し、ハードルジャンプや巨大竹馬などの芸を披露した。

　映画は、2011年に公開された米映画「猿の惑星：創世記（ジェネシス）」の続編で、高度な知能を獲得した猿のシーザーが仲間を率いて、人類への反乱を起こしてから10年後の世界を描く。森の奥地に文明を築いてさらに進化した猿たちと、絶滅の危機に瀕（ひん）した人類の生存者グループが数年ぶりに遭遇し、一触即発の危機に陥る……というストーリー。ブルーレイ＆DVDは2月4日発売予定。

An event to celebrate the launch of preceding distribution of Digital rental for the movie "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" (directed by Matt Reeves) was held in Tokyo on January 7th. The event was attended by two real monkeys - Naruto and Iji which are related to the movie and they showed off some performances such as hurdle jump and walking on stilts.
