　元プロテニス選手の杉山愛さんが2月15日、東京都内で行われた映画「アメリカン・スナイパー」（クリント・イーストウッド監督）の女性限定試写会イベントに登場し、トークショーを行った。

　映画は、2003年に始まったイラク戦争で4回にわたって戦地に赴き、その常人離れした狙撃の精度から「伝説の狙撃手」と呼ばれた男の半生を映像化した作品。戦争の狂気にとりつかれながら、国で待つ家族をこよなく愛した男の光と影をイーストウッド監督が生々しく掘り下げ、描いている。「アメリカン・スナイパー」は21日から公開予定。

Former professional tennis player Ai Sugiyama appeared at the preview event for women only of the movie "American Sniper" (directed by Clint Eastwood) held in Tokyo on February 15th, and she held a talk show there.
The movie portrays a half of life of a man called "the sniper in the legend"thanks to his more accurate sniping talent than ordinary people's, through 4 times on the battlefield in Iraq war starting in 2003.
