　元サッカー日本代表の前園真聖さんが10月29日、「JPタワー　KITTE」（東京都千代田区）で行われた年賀状販売開始セレモニーにはかま姿で登場。「今年1年をひと言で表現すると」という質問に前園さんは「感謝」と挙げ「周りのたくさんの方に支えられて今の自分があると、40代になって改めて思いました」と満面の笑みを見せた。

　同日は、前園さんの42歳の誕生日で、司会者から「誕生日おめでとうございます」と祝いの言葉をかけられると「このタイミングで申し訳ありません」と恐縮。さらに「今年1年というか、いろいろありましたけども。特に今年1年は、たくさんのお仕事をいただき充実した時間を過ごさせていただきました」と振り返った。セレモニーには、モデルの道端 アンジェリカ さんも振り袖姿で出席した。

　日本郵便は29日から、2016年用年賀状引き受けを開始。セレモニーでは、前園さんと道端さんが特別販売も行った。

Masakiyo Maezono, former Japanese football player, appeared in hakama costume at the launch event of New Year greeting card held at "JP tower KITTE" (Chiyoda, Tokyo) on October 29th. When being asked "If using one word to describe about this year, what word will you say?", Maezono said "Thank you" and added with a contented smile: "Entering the age of 40, I think that I have received the support from many people to become who I am today."
