　水着ブランド「三愛水着」の15代目となる「2016年イメージガール」に、ファッション誌「Ray」（主婦の友社）の専属モデル・松元絵里花さん（19）が選ばれた。11月4日に東京都内で行われた発表会に、新作の紺の水着姿で登場した松元さんは、イメージガール就任について「本当にうれしくて鳥肌が立って涙が止まらなかった」と喜び、地元・福岡の方言を交えて「1年間、一生懸命頑張るけん、みんな応援してくれんといかんばい」とアピールした。

　松元さんは、1995年12月14日生まれ、福岡県出身。身長は168センチ、スリーサイズはバスト74センチ、ウエスト55センチ、ヒップ84センチ。同イメージガールは、02年の山本梓さんを初代に、木下優樹菜さんや菜々緒さんなど、多方面で活躍するタレント、モデル、女優を輩出している。今回から名称を、従来の「三愛水着イメージガール」から「三愛水着楽園イメージガール」に変更した。

Model Erika Matsumoto (19) of the fashion magazine "Ray" (Shufunotomo) has been selected to be the "Image girl 2016" - the 15th image girl of the swimsuit brand "San-ai Swimwear". At a press conference held in Tokyo on November 4, Matsumoto appeared in a navy blue swimsuit - a new design, when taking about her appointment to be the image girl, she was very happy: "I felt really happy, had goose pumps and couldn't stop the tears", and used the dialect of Fukuoka - her hometown to appeal: "I will try my best throughout one year and hope that everyone will support me".
