　お笑いコンビ「ココリコ」の遠藤章造さんと田中直樹さんが12月12日、東京・新宿ステーションスクエアで行われた「ダウンタウンのガキの使いやあらへんで！！　絶対に笑ってはいけない大脱獄24時」のブルーレイ＆DVD発売記念イベントに登場。

　「笑ってはいけない」シリーズは、お笑いコンビ「ダウンタウン」、月亭方正さん、ココリコの5人が「どんなことが起きても絶対に笑ってはいけない」というルールでロケに臨む人気企画。日本テレビ系の大みそか年越し特別番組として毎年放送されており、大物俳優や著名文化人らが「仕掛け人」となって笑いのトラップを仕掛ける様子や、笑うと尻をたたかれるという罰ゲームが見どころとなっている。

　今年の大みそかも「ダウンタウンのガキの使いやあらへんで！！大晦日年越しスペシャル　絶対に笑ってはいけない名探偵24時！」が放送の予定。
