　フィギュアスケーターの高橋大輔さんがこのほど、オーディオブックサービス「Audible（オーディブル）」向けにサン・テグジュペリの名著「星の王子さま」（角川つばさ文 庫／管啓次郎さん訳）の朗読を行った。“声のパフォーマンス”に初挑戦した高橋さんは「子どもに読み聞かせしつつ、大人が自分のことも見直せる作品なのかなと感じます。この作品を聴き、改めて、ひとつの考えに凝り固まらずに幅広くさまざまな方向性をみていただくきっかけになれば」とコメントしている。27日から配信中。

　「Audible」は、アマゾングループの関連会社「Audible，Inc．」が展開するサービスで、童話や小説、ビジネス書などをプロのナレーターや俳優らが朗読し、録音・編集された音声コンテンツを配信する。日本では昨年7月から月額1500円の定額サービスがスタートし、女優の宮沢りえさんらが朗読を担当するなど話題を集めた。

　高橋さんの起用理由について、担当者は「今回、爽やかで優しい笑顔、表現力と躍動感に満ちたパフ ォーマンスで年代を問わず、さまざまな人を魅了し、常に挑戦を続けている。身体ではなく声を使ってご自身のイメージを表現する朗読という新しい試みに挑戦いただきました」と説明している。
