　ディズニー／ピクサーの新作劇場版アニメ「アーロと少年」（ピーター・ソーン監督）の来日会見が2月4日、東京都内で行われ、来日したソーン監督、プロデューサーのデニス・リームさんらが作品に関するトークセッションを行った。

　ソーン監督は「小さいときから日本のテレビや映画に触れてきました」と日本の作品の影響について触れ、「アニメでいえば、大友（克洋）監督の『AKIRA』だったり」と語った。

　「アーロと少年」は、恐竜が絶滅せずに生き残り、人間のように言葉を話す地球を舞台に、愛する家族と離れ離れになった弱虫で独りぼっちの恐竜アーロが、家族の元に帰るため壮大な冒険に出る感動のアドベンチャーファンタジー作。3月12日公開。

A press conference on the Japan premiere of the new movie ""The Good Dinosaur"" of Disney and Pixar (directed by Peter Sohn) was held in Tokyo on February 4th. Director Sohn and producer Denise Ream organized a talk show about this work.

Director Sohn mentioned about the influence of Japanese works on him: ""I have been exposed to Japanese movies and TV programs since I was small"", and shared: ""When talking about animations which have influence on me, ""AKIRA"" of director Katsuhiro Otomo must be named"". "
