　アイドルグループ「カントリー・ガールズ」が3月3日、東京タワー（東京都港区）で新シングル「ブギウギLOVE／恋はマグネット／ランラルン～あなたに夢中～」の発売（9日）を前に会見を行った。同グループのスーパーバイザーで、先日、第1子誕生を発表した里田まいさんについて、メンバーの“ももち”こと嗣永桃子さんは「私たちも新たな楽曲を世に生み出すという意味では（出産した里田さんと）同じ。お子さんに夢中なのは重々承知しているけれど、私たちのことも変わらず可愛がって」とお願いしていた。

　出産のその日に里田さんから連絡をもらったといい、「早めにご連絡いただけてうれしかったけど、私の気のせいか、ご出産されてから、お子さんにいっぱいいっぱいなのか、連絡の頻度、返信の頻度が遅くなっている気が……」とぼやき、「またより一層私たちに愛を注いでほしい」と改めてリクエストしていた。

　「ブギウギLOVE／恋はマグネット／ランラルン～あなたに夢中～」は同グループ通算3枚目のシングルでトリプルA面仕様。この日はひな祭り（3月3日）で、昭和33（1958）年に営業開始した高さ333メートルの東京タワーのふもとで会見が行われ、嗣永さんは「きょうはキーワード『3』でいきたい」と笑顔で語り、今回の新曲をメンバーたちが「3」を交えてアピールしていた。

When talking about Mai Satoda, who has just announced about the birth of her first child and is also the supervisor of the group, member Momoko Tsugunaga, aka “Momochi” entreated: “With the implication of having just given birth to a new song in this world, we are also the same (like Satoda having given birth to her child). We know that Satoda is in deep passion for her child right now, but please still love us like before”."
