　テニスプレーヤーの松岡修造さんが3月7日、東京都内で行われた消臭剤「ファブリーズ」（P＆G）のイベントに登場。松岡さんは昨晩、錦織圭選手が約5時間の激闘の末に敗れた男子テニス国別対抗戦「デビスカップ」のワールドグループ1回戦「イギリス VS 日本」で、「朝の5時まで熱血解説をしていた」といい、イベント中もステージから降りて、報道陣に近づき、「記者のみなさんでデビスカップを見た人！」と挙手を求めるなど興奮冷めやらない様子だった。

　松岡さんはイベントで暗転するたびに「昨日の錦織選手ですけど……」と切り出し、「世界2位の（アンディ・マリー）選手を相手に、3セットとらなきゃいけない中、2セット先に取られてしまった」と熱弁。その一方で、「彼は途中で心の“除菌”をした」などと、試合中の気持ちの切り替えを、消臭剤に例えて、イベントの趣旨も忘れていない様子だった。しかし、その後も錦織選手の試合について熱弁を続けると、チャイムを鳴らされるなどして“暴走”を強制終了され、少々不満顔だった。

　イベントは「ママのための春のファブリーズ好印象入学式」と題され、松岡さんとCMキャラクターを務める女優の菜々緒さんが登場。この春、実際に子供の入学式などの予定がある主婦ブロガー約20人が招待された。松岡さんがイベントを仕切り、匂いと印象に関する“講義”を開催した。

Also at the event, he stepped down from the stage, came closer to reporters, showed off intact excitement posture after the match and asked reporters: “Please raise your hand if you have watched Davis Cup""."
