　トム・フーパー監督が来日し、3月9日に東京都内で行われた映画「リリーのすべて」のジャパンプレミアに出席、レッドカーペットに登場した。

　「リリーのすべて」は、今から80年以上も前に世界で初めて性別適合手術を受けたデンマーク人リリー・エルベの実話に基づく勇気と愛の物語。エディ・レッドメインさんと巨匠フーパー監督が「レ・ミゼラブル」に続いてタッグを組んだ作品で、第88回アカデミー賞では主要4部門にノミネートされた。18日公開。ジャパンプレミアにはレッドメインさんも出席した。

Director Tom Hooper arrived in Japan and appeared on the red carpet at the Japan premiere of the movie “The Danish Girl”, held in Tokyo on March 9th.

“The Danish Girl” is a story about braveness and love, which is based on a real story about a Danish girl named Lili Elbe who underwent the first transsexual surgery in the world from 1980s backward.
