　歌手でタレントのDAIGOさんが3月27日、東京都内で行われた劇場版アニメ「映画 きかんしゃトーマス 探せ！！謎の海賊船と失われた宝物」（4月9日公開）の完成披露試写会に登場。DAIGOさんは、主人公・トーマスの新しい仲間で小型機関車のライアンの声を務めている。

　「きかんしゃトーマス」は、架空のソドー島を舞台に、青い機関車・トーマスと仲間たちの活躍を描いた絵本「The Railway Series（汽車のえほん）」が原作で、1945年に英国で誕生した。テレビアニメは英国で31年前に始まり、日本では90年から放送。劇場版は、ある日、ひょんなことから秘密の洞くつで古い海賊船を発見したトーマスが、船乗りのジョン、線路を走る帆船のスキフとともに宝探しの冒険に出発する……と展開する。

Singer-media personality DAIGO appeared at an event to announce the completion of the movie “Thomas & Friends: Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure” (to be premiered on April 9th) in Tokyo on March 27th.

DAIGO dubs Rian, a small locomotive that is the new younger brother of the main character - Thomas.
