　アイドルグループ「AKB48」の横山由依さんが6月4日、東京都内で単行本「AKB48公式10年史『涙は句読点～普通の女の子たちが国民的アイドルになるまで～』」（日刊スポーツ新聞社）の発売記念イベントに登場。1日に発表された「第8回AKB48選抜総選挙」投票速報（中間発表）で、8701票を集め暫定26位になった横山さんは「去年（の速報）は20位で結構不安で、それよりもランクを落としてしまったんですが、（投票開始から）1日でこんなにもたくさん投票してくれたという事実がうれしかった。目標は“神7”（7位以内）に設定させていただいているので、（開票イベント）当日はみんなと一緒に笑えたら」と前向きに語った。

　またAKB48グループの総監督も務める横山さんは、速報結果を受け「去年ランクインしていなかったメンバーがランクインしていて、世代交代が進みそうな予感がしているし、ワクワクしている」とコメント。さらに「私は48グループが大好きだし、総監督の役割として、最前線にいないといけないので、選抜メンバー入りは果たしたい」と改めて気合を入れ直していた。

　単行本「AKB48公式10年史『涙は句読点～普通の女の子たちが国民的アイドルになるまで～』」は、「AKB48が歩んだ10年とは一体何だったのか？」を振り返る内容で、現役メンバーやOGのインタビュー、“お宝写真”なども収録している。A5判、オールカラー256ページ、価格は2000円。イベントには小嶋真子さん、向井地美音さん、山田菜々美さんらも登場した。

On June 4, member Yui Yokoyama of the idol group "AKB48" appeared at an event to celebrate the publication of "AKB48's Official 10-Year History ""Tear is Punctuation ~an Ordinary Girl Who Becomes a National Idol~"" (Nikkan Sports Editorial Office) in Tokyo.


In the preliminary voting report (mid-term report) "AKB48's 8th General Election", Yokoyama, who won 8701 votes with temporary 26th position, stated optimistically: "In last year's (preliminary report), I ranked 20th and was quite unsecured; moreover, my ranking has also receded, but I am very happy in one day (since the start of the voting) because many people have voted for me. My target is entering "Kami7" (7 first position), so I hope to smile with everyone on the vote counting date".
