　女子レスリングの吉田沙保里選手とインスタグラムで人気の柴犬「まる」が12月14日、劇場版アニメ「ペット」ブーレイ＆DVD発売記念イベントに登場した。

　「ペット」は、「ミニオンズ」のスタッフが手がける最新作で、飼い主が留守にしている時のペットたちの日常をユーモラスに描いたアドベンチャー。大好きな飼い主ケイティと不自由ない生活を送っていた犬のマックスだが、ケイティが毛むくじゃらの大型犬デュークを保護したことで、トラブルに巻き込まれる……というストーリー。日本語吹き替え版では、マックスを「バナナマン」の設楽統さん、デュークを日村勇紀さんが演じている。ブルーレイ＆DVDは12月21日発売。
