　人気アニメ「デジモンアドベンチャー」シリーズの新作「デジモンアドベンチャー tri.」の第5章「共生」が9月30日に劇場公開されることが6月1日、分かった。第5章の特報も公開され、望月芽心が「もう私はパートナーじゃないの？」と悲しげに問いかけ、石田ヤマトが「仲間を犠牲にする希望なんてあってたまるか！太一！」と怒鳴るなど“選ばれし子どもたち”が葛藤する姿が描かれている。

　同シリーズはバンダイの携帯液晶ゲーム機から生まれたアニメ。1999～2000年に放送された初代「デジモンアドベンチャー」は、小学生の太一らがデジタルワールドという世界に飛ばされ、奇妙な生物・デジタルモンスターと冒険する姿が描かれた。

　「tri.」は初代の放送開始から15周年を記念して制作された続編で、全6章の新作として劇場上映されている。「デジモンアドベンチャー02」の最後の戦いから3年後が舞台となり、太一たちが高校生となって登場している。
