　大正時代を舞台とした大和和紀さんの人気少女マンガが原作の劇場版アニメ「はいからさんが通る」の前編「紅緒、花の17歳」の特報映像が7月6日、公開された。

　「はいからさんが通る」は、大正時代を舞台に、剣道が特技でじゃじゃ馬な“はいからさん”こと花村紅緒と婚約者・伊集院忍の恋を描いたラブコメディー。1975～77年に「週刊少女フレンド」（講談社）で連載され、第1回講談社漫画賞少女漫画部門を受賞。78～79年に全42話のテレビアニメが放送されたほか、87年に南野陽子さん、阿部寛さん主演の実写映画が公開された。79年、85年、02年にテレビドラマも放送された。

　新作劇場版アニメは、同作の連載40周年を記念した企画で、約38年ぶりにアニメ化。早見沙織さんが花村紅緒、宮野真守さんが伊集院忍の声優を務める。

Anime film version: "Haikara-san ga Tooru" ~"Benio, Hana no 17sai"

"Haikara-san ga Tooru" is a romantic comedy that depicts the love between infamous Benio Hanamura (Haikara-san) who is good at Kendo, and his fiancee Shinobu Ijuin in the Taishou era.

The manga was serialized in Shoujo Friend Magazine (Kodansha) published weekly in period of 1975 ~ 1977, it's the first Kodansha Manga Award-winning shōjo manga.

In period of 1978 ~1979, all of 42 episodes were broadcasted as TV anime; in 1987, live action film starring Yoko Minamino and Abe Hiroshi was released.

This new film version anime is the first animated one after 38 years in a project commemorating the 40th anniversary of the work serialization.

Actress Saori Hayami will play the role of Benio Hanamura, while Shinobu Iju will be voiced by actor Mamoru Miyano.
