　1970年代を中心に人気を集めたロボットアニメ「マジンガーZ」の新作劇場版アニメ「劇場版マジンガーZ（仮題）」（志水淳児監督、2018年1月13日公開）に、声優として上坂すみれさん、花江夏樹さん、石塚運昇さんが出演することが8月19日、明らかになった。上坂さんは物語の鍵を握る謎の美少女・リサ、花江さんは主人公・兜甲児の弟で、若き天才パイロットとして活躍する兜（かぶと）シロー、石塚さんは世界征服を目論む悪の天才科学者・Dr.ヘルをそれぞれ演じる。

　また、高木渉さんが頼れる兄貴・ボス、山口勝平さんがボスの子分その1・ムチャ、菊池正美さんが子分その2・ヌケ、森田順平さんがヒロイン・弓さやかの父である弓首相、島田敏さんが超スローな科学者・のっそり博士、塩屋浩三さんが研究大好きな科学者・せわし博士をそれぞれ演じることも分かった。

　また、今回の追加キャストを紹介する映像も公開された。映像では、上坂さんが声を演じるリサが「通称リサです。よろしくお願いします」と自己紹介したり、花江さん演じるシローが「3番隊、気合い入れて行くぞ！」とかけ声を上げたりするシーンなどを収録。せりふと共に各キャラクターの劇中シーンが映し出され、配役を紹介している。

　「マジンガーZ」は、地球の平和を守るため、主人公・兜甲児がロボットを操り、世界征服をたくらむ悪の天才科学者Dr.ヘルが作り出した機械獣軍団と戦う……というストーリー。永井豪さんのマンガが72年に「週刊少年ジャンプ」（集英社）で連載開始。テレビアニメは72～74年に放送された。水木一郎さんの歌う主題歌、超合金などのキャラクター玩具なども人気を集めた。

　同作の劇場版アニメは、74年公開の「マジンガーZ対暗黒大将軍」以来で、過去のテレビアニメ版などと同じ東映アニメーション（旧東映動画）が製作する。森久保祥太郎さんが主人公・兜甲児、茅野愛衣さんがヒロイン・弓さやかをそれぞれ演じる。

Additional voice casts of new animated movie Mazinger-Z, actress and actor Uesaka, Natsuki Hanae

On August 19, it was revealed that voice casts including Sumire Uesaka, Natsuki Hanae, Unshō Ishizuka will dub the animated movie “Mazinger-Z” (directed by Junji Shimizu, premiered on January 13, 2018)- the movie version of the animation “Mazinger-Z”-anime about the popular robot in 1970s was confirmed.

Voice casts Uesaka, Hanae and Ishizuka will, in turns, dub character Risa - a beautiful and mysterious girl who holds the clue of the whole story, Shiro Kabuto - younger brother of the main character Kouji Kabuto and a young talented pilot, Dr. Hell - a genius but bad scientist, who always desires to conquer the world.

Moreover, the movie is also participated by some other voice casts such as Wataru Takagi who plays the reliable brother of Bozu, Kappei Yamaguchi who plays Mucha - the first henchman of Bozu, Masami Kikuchi who plays Nuke - the second henchman, Junpei Morita who plays Prime Minister Yumi - who is the father of the main character Sayaka Yumi, Bin Shimada who plays Dr. Nossori - a super-slow scientist, Kōzō Shioya who plays Dr. Sewashi - a scientist with passion for research.
