　動画配信サービス「Netflix」オリジナル映画「デスノート」のジャパンプレミアが8月24日、東京都内で開催。イベントには、主人公のライト・ターナーを演じたナット・ウルフさん、ミア・サットン役のマーガレット・クアリーさん、L役のキース・スタンフィールドさん、プロデューサーを務めたマシ・オカさんらも出席した。

　「デスノート」は、2003～06年に「週刊少年ジャンプ」（集英社）で連載された大場つぐみさん原作、小畑健さん作画の人気マンガ。名前を書かれた者が死ぬ「デスノート」を手に、自分の正義で犯罪者を裁き“理想郷”を作ろうとする夜神月（やがみ・らいと）と、名探偵「L」が頭脳戦を展開する……という内容で、テレビアニメや実写映画、舞台、ドラマにもなった。Netflixオリジナル映画「デスノート」は、25日から世界190カ国に同時配信される。

　イベントには、原作の大ファンというアイドルグループ「ベイビーレイズJAPAN」も応援に駆けつけた。

Movie “Death note” - version Netflix Japan Premium3

The Japan Premium of the original movie “Death note” of the video distribution service Netflix was held in the inner city of Tokyo on August 24th.

This event was attended by Nat Wolff - who plays the main character Light Turner, Margaret Qualley - who plays Mia Sutton, Keith Stanfield – who plays L, Masi Oka – who serves as the producer.

“Death Note” is a work which was serialized on the magazine “Shuukan Shounen Jump” (Shueisha) from 2003 to 2006 and was written by author Tsugumi Ohbam.

This is also a favorite manga of the comics writer Obata Takeshi. With the content revolving the combat wits between Yagami Raito – who holds “Death Note” (Those whose names written on this book will die) and wants to judge criminals and build an “ideal society” based on his own justice.

The work has already had the TV animated version, live-action version, theatrical version and drama version.

The original movie “Death note” of Netflix will be premiered simultaneously in 190 countries from the 25th.
