　幕張メッセ（千葉市美浜区）で開催中の日本最大のゲーム展示会「東京ゲームショウ2017」で、人気ゲーム、アニメのキャラクターになりきったコスプレーヤーが集まり、自慢の衣装を披露した。ゲーム「ポケットモンスター」のピカチュウ擬人化のコスプレーヤーをリポート。

　東京ゲームショウ2017では、幕張メッセの9ホールの指定された屋内と9、10ホールの屋外、4～6ホール南側の屋外駐車場をコスプレエリアとして開放。参加者は全長50センチ以上の物や、銃器、刀剣などの武器、武具類、周囲に危害を加える恐れのあるものなどの持ち込みが禁じられている。着替えは所定のコスプレ更衣室でのみ許可されており、クローク代込みで1000円の使用料が必要。
