　歌手でタレントの森口博子さんが11月6日、東京都内で開催されたパチンコ「フィーバー機動戦士Z（ゼータ）ガンダム」の発表会に登場。発表会には俳優の草刈正雄さんも出席。草刈さんは「えらいことになった。新しいガンダムの始まりじゃ」と、NHK大河ドラマ「真田丸」で演じた真田昌幸の名ぜりふをもじったかけ声で、会場の雰囲気を盛り上げた。

　「機動戦士Zガンダム」の後期オープニング曲「水の星へ愛をこめて」でデビューした森口さんは、91年には「機動戦士ガンダムF91」の主題歌「ETERNAL WIND」も歌って話題を集めた。最近では、劇場版アニメ「機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN 4 運命の前夜」の主題歌「宇宙の彼方で」も担当するなど、長年にわたってガンダムと縁が深いことで知られる。
