Lunchtime for a mother-and-baby otter family one day. Mom, Odashi, deftly opens the bento box, and they all enjoy their meal together.
In the midst of such an ordinary day, something struck me once again.
When faced with a difficult challenge, many otters give up halfway through.
But Odashi is different.
The harder the task, the harder she tries; she keeps trying over and over until she succeeds.
Is she just a hard worker, or does she simply hate losing?
Watching her, I’m reminded once again, “That’s why she is so smart.”
