日本が支援するミャンマーの経済特区の開発に伴い、立ち退きさせられた住民らが２日、東京都内で記者会見して窮状を訴えるとともに、事業に出資する国際協力機構（ＪＩＣＡ）に補償措置などを求める異議申立書を提出した。

Three Myanmar people lodge a complaint with the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Tokyo on June 2, 2014, seeking compensation for relocating from their homes due to a Japanese-funded redevelopment project in the Southeast Asian country. The complaint concerns evictions of hundreds of local residents in connection with a project backed by the Japanese public and private sectors and financed by the agency to create the so-called Thilawa special economic zone in Myanmar.
