テニスの全米オープン男子シングルスで日本人初の準優勝となった錦織圭選手が１６日、所属する日清食品本社（東京都新宿区）を訪れ、出迎えた社員に「良いニュースを届けることができました。次は優勝目指して頑張ります」とあいさつした。日清食品ホールディングスの安藤宏基社長の要望で、試合で勝ったときのガッツポーズも披露した。
