三菱航空機（名古屋市）は１８日、国産初の小型ジェット旅客機「ＭＲＪ」（三菱リージョナルジェット）の飛行試験用機体を完成させ、愛知県豊山町で初めて公開した。戦後初のプロペラ旅客機「ＹＳ１１」から半世紀ぶりの国産機として、来春の初飛行に向けて前進した。

Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp. unveiled its Mitsubishi Regional Jet on Oct. 18, 2014, following a series of delays in the development and delivery of the first Japanese-built passenger jet. Mitsubishi Aircraft has so far received orders from both domestic and foreign airlines for more than 400 of the MRJ, which is expected to make its maiden flight around next spring,
