鏡張りの通路でクラゲが泳ぐ姿などを楽しめる「クラゲ万華鏡トンネル」のオープニングイベントが１９日、東京都墨田区のすみだ水族館で開かれた。「クラゲ万華鏡トンネル」は天井などに約５千枚の鏡を並べ、壁の一部に埋め込んだ水槽で泳ぐクラゲの姿を幻想的に映し出す。色とりどりのライトに照らされたトンネルに入れば、クラゲと一緒に海中を漂う気分を味わえる。クラゲ万華鏡トンネルは２２日から来年１月１２日まで。
Sumida Aquarium, located at the Tokyo Skytree Town, opens a "jellyfish kaleidoscope tunnel" that enables visitors to feel as if they are drifting in seawater with jellyfish, from Nov. 22 to Jan. 12. In the tunnel, around 5,000 pieces of mirror fantastically reflect jellyfish swimming in the nearby aquarium.
