Welcome to the first ever Tonko House Film Festival!　
The festival takes place at Kadokawa EJ Anime Theater in Shinjuku, heart of
Tokyo from April 26th through May 26th, 2019.
It has been one of Tonko Houseʼs lifelong dreams to host our own film festival where we not only share our own films, but also share films that have been been impactful for us in our careers. Our hope is to inspire the community similarly to the ways in which your films have inspired us.

For this festival specifically, we are excited to introduce and celebrate animation from around the world.
Tonko House is honored to have this opportunity to share such a powerful collection of films. Our successful crowd funding efforts made this project possible.

【トンコハウスとは】　堤大介とロバート・コンドウは、世界最高のアニメ・スタジオといわれるピクサーでアート・ディレクターとして活躍するかたわら、自分たちで脚本を書いて、自主制作映画をつくった。ふたりの初監督作品『ダム・キーパー』は、世界中の国際映画祭で20以上の賞を受賞し、2015年米国アカデミー賞短編アニメーション部門にノミネートされるなど、一大センセーションを巻きおこした。2014年、ふたりはピクサーから独立して、トンコハウスを設立。新たな仲間とともに、映像、出版、アートイベントなど多方面へ活動の幅を広げている。
