JAXA has achieved various social contributions through aerospace activities in JFY 2015 including information provision for disaster preparation/prevention by DAICHi-2 throughout the year, demonstration of D-SEND#2 or flight verification by an experimental supersonic airplane for low sonic boom design technology in July, the ISS expedition mission by Astronaut Yui from July to December, verification of upgraded technology for the mainstay launch vehicle by H-IIA F29 in November, and the successful Earth swing-by of the Hayabusa2 in December.

In this video, we introduce JAXA’s activities between April 2015 and March 2016 by dividing them into five fields namely Space Utilization with Satellites, Research on Space Science, Human Space Activity/Utilization of the Space Environment, Development of Transport Systems Linking Ground and Space, and, Research on Aeronautical Technology.
