JAXA Astronaut Norishige Kanai begins his long duration stay on the International Space Station (ISS) as an Expedition 54/55 mission crew in December 2017.

Astronaut Kimiya Yui and Astronaut Takuya Onishi, who have already been to the ISS in 2015 and 2016 respectively, held a farewell party for their colleague.

The video (Part 1 and Part 2) contains their frank and open conversation at the party on their updates, experiences, and answers to the questions from Kanai’s Twitter followers.
