東日本大震災から9年、東京電力の原発事故の影響で一部区間(浪江～富岡)で不通が続いていた常磐線が、2020年3月14日、ついに全線復旧し運転を再開しました。
これの伴い仙台～首都圏を結ぶ特急も復活しました。
この動画では、その常磐線全線開通初日の仙台駅の模様とE657系「特急ひたち14号」仙台発、品川行き一番列車に乗車した際のダイジェスト車窓(雨)です。

After nine years since the Great East Japan Earthquake, Joban Line finally resumed operation for the entire route on March 14, 2020. Until now, part of the line had been suspended from operation.
The restoration also brought back the limited express services between Sendai and Tokyo metropolitan area.
This video clip shows Sendai Station on the first day of the Joban Line full restoration and the ride on Hitachi Limited Express No. 14 (E657 series), the first Joban Line limited express directly connecting Sendai and Shinagawa after the restoration.
