2020年に撮影したE956形新幹線試験電車ALFA-X(アルファエックス)の試運転の映像集です。
今回は主に新型2種パンタグラフの可動と、これまで未公開だった深夜高速走行試験映像を含めた動画です。

This is a video collection of the ALFA-X Shinkansen.
The test vehicle Class E956 ALFA-X has been developed to realize an operation at 360km/h on the Tohoku Shinkansen line.
There are also tests being carried out at a speed of 400 km/h.
The 10-car bullet train adopted different train shapes for the 1st car and the 10th car.
For the 1st car, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. is in charge, making the length of the nose about as long as that of Series E5, and aims at suppressing its pressure waves at tunnel entry as well as ensuring enough space inside.
For the 10th car, Hitachi, Ltd. is in charge, making the length of the nose longer than that of Series E5, aims at improving its environmental performance by suppressing its pressure waves at tunnel entry.
Other various technologies will be also adopted and tested in the test runs.
※The environmental standards regarding noise are fixed by law in Japan.
No matter how high speed it is, it needs to meet the environmental standards regarding noise.
Therefore, the head shape of Shinkansen must be carefully designed.
The shape is designed in order to reduce the particular noise that is generated at the exit of a tunnel (tunnel micro air pressure).
Which shape of the 1st and 10th cars is better will be assessed through this test run.
