When it comes to Porsche, everyone thinks of 911. No matter how old you are, this model would be the first one that comes to your mind. Today, we are going to have a test drive an air-cooled 911 from first generation, called "Narrow". Let's verify this air-cooled engine 911.


We are visiting this shop named "Vintage Shonan". It seemed like the store only specialized in air-cooled 911, but it was actually not. Having a head of air-cooled 911 of the list, they carry many other kinds of vintage car.


When we walked into the storage showroom, Oggy’s sharp-eyed found his favorite British lightweight sports car, Lotus Elan (Sr.2). He sat on driver's seat and never wanted to leave. His dream is living in the mountain with 2 cars - a 4WD and a small sports car. He must have had a great time at the seat.


They carry those rare vintage cars that you hardly find anywhere else. There are Porsche, Jaguar, Nissan Figaro, and many other kinds of cars inside of the showroom. Surprisingly, 3 of Toyota 2000GT were sold within a year. They have multiple showrooms located in Kanagawa prefecture, and there are many cars that are not on their website. Please inquire them if you are looking for something.


What we had a test drive for this time was the model called 911T, which is loaded 2.2 liter flat 6 from 1971. As for an engine output, it is 125ph, the modestest than others in the series, though the run was the greatest. It was an awesome drive.


By the way, Porsche achieved150 thousands sales in total in 2.2 liter flat 6 era. It is off the subject but Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the designer of Porsche, exceptionally involved in exterior and interior of the150,000th 911.
