Just like how a young boy become an old man before you know it, an unreachable expensive brand new car become an old used car too.

I was young and paid peanut, and they were out of my reach back then. But now, they might be affordable for me becoming old and relatively rich?

This is a project that tall-short old men duo helps you search for the best car.


This man is finally back - Oggy, the old man A. The reason for a long absence was "journey of self-discovery". Things like "journey of self-discovery" are thought as the privileges for only young people, but apparently they are not. An answer that he found through the journey was his life goal of living in a mountain (which is secret from his wife). And he is hoping to fulfill his dream of owning 2 cars in a mountain - a small sports car and 4WD.


On the other hand, the dream of old man B is owning at least one American car. Certainly, owning multiple cars is always a dream of a car freak. When I was a child, American muscle car was booming as well as supercar. The high-pitched exhaust sound from Ferrari is cool, but the bass sound from large displacement of V8 that I can feel in my stomach is absolutely appealing too.


"Johnan Jeep Petit" is a shop located by Tamagawa river bank, a perfect location for some old men who want to go on an escape journey of self-discovery. This shop is reassuring for dreamy old men, because their motto is "We will find any cars that are on land of United States." They also carry Japanese and European cars besides Americans at the shop.

The car old man A chose was a customized 1994 Suzuki Jimny. Needless to say, this car is for hobbyists, but it is actually an excellent Kei car (Japanese light weight compact car) with 4WD function. The engine is 660 cc displacement, and the fact that it comes with turbo attracts old men. The dimensions are length 3,290mm x width 1,390mm x height 1,750mm.

Old man B found 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS from the first generation. As for the condition, they told us it is full-original and numbers-matching, and the first owner had parked inside of the air-conditioned garage. It is an ideal car in ideal condition. American car is about big body size, but its dimensions are length 4,690mm x width 1,840mm x height 1,310mm. It is a standard size today.

Comparing the dreams of two old men is not possible, but comparing engine displacements is doable - 660cc and 5300cc. I hope you enjoy the moment of driving that will take you to the journey of self-discovery!
